ProDeck Wood Cleaner

For general cleaning mix 1-litre of ProDeck with 9-litres of water and apply to the surface.

If a heavier clean is needed mix 1-litre of ProDeck with 3 - 3.5-litres of water and apply to the surface.

For the removal of grease and oil mix 1-litre of ProDeck with 2.5-litres of water and apply to the surface.

Allow to stand for 5 - 10 minutes (do not allow it to dry) and rub gently with a brush before rinsing the area with water.

Please remember that this is a very effective and powerful cleaning product therefore Prodeck should not be applied in bright, direct sunshine or staining could occur.

Why do I have to rinse the surface?

ProDeck is a very strong cleaning product especially designed for exterior timber. The rinsing is intended to not only rinse the product from the surface but also to help remove the dirt that the ProDeck has lifted from the surface.

Why can't I apply the ProDeck in direct sunlight?

We recommend not applying ProDeck in strong, direct sunlight as there could be an adverse reaction which could lead to staining of the timber especially if using as part of a stronger solution. This doesn't mean that you have to use ProDeck in the dark, just not on a day with strong, direct sunlight.
