Product Description
Graffinet DC is a pH neutral cleaner/stripper with penetrating proprietary properties for the removal of paints, graffiti, markers or glues on both porous and non-porous surfaces.
Its efficiency helps to eliminate most types of paint including oil based, water based, polyurethane paints, varnish, printing ink, synthetic resins and glues on a wide range of surface types.
When you want to remove graffiti, paint or marker pen from a surface then the Graffinet should be brushed, rolled or sprayed on to the surface and allowed to work for a short while after which the area should be brushed or washed with a pressure washer to remove the paint.
Graffinet DC contains neither halogenated or chlorinated solvents and is pH neutral therefore safer for the user and surrounding areas then many alternative products.
Product Specification
The way that you use Graffinet DC varies slightly with the type of surface:
Porous Surface: Graffinet DC should be used pure and applied with either a brush, roller, sprayer or cloth ensuring that all of the area is covered. Leave to act for 5-20 minutes at which point lifting of the paint should be visible. The area can either be brushed (wet or dry) or or washed with a pressure washer.
Non-Porous Surface: Graffinet DC should be used pure and applied with either a brush, roller, sprayer or cloth ensuring that all of the area is covered. Leave to act for 2-10 minutes at which point lifting of the paint should be visible. The area can either be brushed (wet or dry) or or washed with a pressure washer.
Whilst Graffinet DC is pH neutral and contains no halogenated or chlorinated solvents users should wear appropriate protective clothing such as overalls, gloves and goggles.
FAQs
When the graffiti comes off the wall what should I do with it?
If you brush the area clean, without water, then the graffiti, paint etc will fall to the floor as flakes. These should be swept and disposed of responsibly. If you are using water then you should take necessary steps to ensure there is no possibility of contamination to surrounding areas.
Will this remove graffiti even if I haven't used the Graffipro AQ?
Graffipro AQ is an anti-graffiti paint that will make the removal of graffiti, posters etc. quick and easy. If, however, you haven't used it then Graffinet DC will still remove the paint but it may take longer and the paint would have adhered to the surface.
