METHOD OF USE

You can add Debouchnet Liquid either directly by pouring into the pipe or by mixing with water before pouring this solution into the pipe. For smaller pipes, such as sinks and showers, we recommend making a solution. For larger pipes such as exterior drains and down-pipes then adding the product directly could be the better option.

The amount to add depends upon the size of pipe or opening that is being treated. For a standard size sink, mix approximately 25ml - 50ml with a litre of warm water and pour slowly into the pipe opening. Leave to act for a minimum of 30-minutes (or overnight in very difficult cases) before rinsing thoroughly. If there is standing water, within the pipe, then try to remove as much water as possible before adding the solution. This solution can be make with a higher concentration of up to 100ml if necessary.

For external blockages within larger pipes then Debouchnet Liquid can be added directly at an amount deemed necessary.

Do not mix with any other chemical solution.

FAQs

How much should I add to my drain?

It is very hard to give an exact amount to add as it depends upon the type and size of the blockage. We recommend adding Debouchnet Liquid slowly to a blockage rather than pouring huge amounts very quickly. The most important thing to remember is that the liquid wants to be in contact with the blockage so that it can start to break down the organic matter and dissolve the grease or soap build-up. This is why we suggest adding a small amount then topping up if necessary.
