Batiface ECO

Batiface ECO

Batiface ECO is not only effective at cleaning and removing light staining from uPVC door and window frames but is especially good at removing the darkening and weather damage that occurs to uPVC surfaces over a period of time. If your plastic surfaces are stained with atmospheric damage then simply spray diluted ECO over the surface a leave to act for a few minutes before wiping with a damp cloth.

Batiface ECO should be sprayed directly onto the surface to remove light staining and marks and generally clean without scrubbing of uPVC or any hard surface. Batiface ECO can be used pure for very heavy soiling.

For more advice and help with the cleaning of all different types of surface please see our Guides page. However please feel free to CONTACT US if you have any questions.

On porous surfaces, we recommend that, once clean and dry, BATICLEAN CR is applied to the surface to help protect against natural staining.

Product Specification

For regular use, it can be diluted in water: 1:20 and for very light soiling 1:10. For heavy soiling the Batiface Eco can be used neat. Apply with a sprayer/brush or cloth, work in and leave for 10-15 minutes

General maintenance we advise 1:5 solution. It does not need to be rinsed but it may be preferable to clean the surface thoroughly once the action has taken place. Once you have achieved to finish you are looking for, keep the fresh look with a regular clean down to prevent future soiling.

As Batiface ECO is a concentrate, when mixed with water it will cover up to 100m2 per litre.

Each diluted litre covers 5m2.

FAQs

What is the best way to clean my white, plastic door and window frames?

It really depends upon what level of cleaning that is required. If the frames are just generally looking dull and have dark staining (caused by age and weather) then mix a solution of around 5%-10% concentration and spray onto the frames. Leave to act for around 10 minutes before wiping with a cloth or light scouring pad (obviously, don't use anything that will scratch the surface) and clean water. If the staining is very heavy then a second application may be required or leave to act for a little longer. Batiface ECO is a strong cleaning product so be prepared to clean the glass after the frames as a lot of dirt will be removed and some of it will end up on the glass.

Do I have to rinse the surface after treatment?

No. If rinsing is easy and quick to do, then we would always recommend doing it but for some surfaces (such as conservatory roofs) rinsing can be awkward so there is no actual requirement to rinse the surface after application.

What is the difference between Batiface ECO & Baticlean CR?

The two are very different products although they can be used for similar tasks. We prefer to make recommendations or suggestions for which product is most suited for a particular task but the user is always able to decide for themselves the product they prefer to use for each task. We recommend Batiface ECO for the cleaning of plastic surfaces, as well as mineral surfaces, and Baticlean CR for areas like patios, roofs and walls especially when covered with greening.

What is the best way to apply Batiface ECO?

Batiface ECO can be applied however best suits you but we would recommend a sprayer with EPDM seals which can handle the pH of the product. You can use Batiface ECO in any type of sprayer but if you use one with EPDM seals then it will not be damaged by the alkaline solution and will, therefore, last much longer than a normal sprayer. We have a number of compression sprayers with EPDM seals which you will see below.
