Vitax Moss Remover is a specially developed treatment for Moss removal. It contains high levels of potash so feeds the lawn while at work on the moss. As the moss dies back the natural bacteria breaks it down meaning there is no necessity to rake away the dead moss and no drainage problems resulting in greener grass in just seven days.

Key points:

• For best results use between March and September when the soil temperature is over 10 degrees
• No scorching or blackening
• Feeds your lawn for up to 3 months
• Treats up to 100sqm

Usage Instructions

• Soil should be moist, the grass dry and frost free
• Wear gloves during application and wash hands well after use
• Spread at a rate of 50g per m² by hand
• If using a spreader mark out area to be treated. Apply evenly at 50g per m² with a suitably calibrated granular applicator
• For neglected or heavily moss affected lawns, increase the initial application to 100g per m²
• Water in after applying or within 48 hours if there is no rainfall to help activate the fertiliser
• Moss will yellow after 2-3 weeks and gradually disappear into the thatch layer where the bacteria will start to digest it.
• Repeat the application after 12 weeks
• Keep out of the reach of children and pets

How is it best to apply Vitax Moss Killer No Rake?

Apply evenly at 50 grams per square metre, 100g per sqm if heavily affected. Avoid walking on treated areas until it has rained or product has been watered in. If no rain falls within 48 hours of treatment, water the treated grass.

When should I apply Vitax Moss Killer No Rake?

For best results use Vitax Moss killer No Rake between March and September. Regular use allows for moss to be eradicated and production of a healthy lawn.

Are the granules safe for use around pets?

We advise that pets and children are kept off the surface until completely dissipated. A good way to do this is to section an area at a time.

If I first apply Vitax Moss Remover No Rake how soon after can I over so with grass seed?

It depends on your treatment. This product is slow releasing and will not affect the grass seed after being watered in. However, if you plan to rake out any dead moss, then you may prefer to lay grass seed afterwards so as not to disturb any new growth.
