Vitax Lawn Sand should not be applied during drought or when rain is imminent.
Contains 4.7% nitrogen and 1.8% iron.
If
using solely as a tonic, it can be applied throughout the growing
season and watered in. To control moss, use the recommended application
rates and rake out dead moss approximately seven to 10 days after
treatment.
Grass should be cut three days before and not cut again until
at least four days after Green Up Lawn Sand has been used. Re-treatment
may be required if moss returns.
Keep children and pets away from the treated area until watered in.
How is it best to apply Vitax Lawn Sand?
Apply evenly at 80 grams per
square meter. The marked area with suitably calibrated granular
applicator. Check your spreader settings. Avoid walking on treated areas
until it has rained or product has been watered in. If no rain falls
within 48 hours of treatment, water the treated grass.
When should I apply Vitax Lawn Sand?
Use Vitax Lawn sand between March and September. Regular use allows for moss to be eradicated and production of a healthy lawn.
Are the granules safe for use around pets?
We advise that pets and children
are kept off the surface until completely dissipated. A good way to do
this is to section an area at a time.
