Product Description

This is a sprayer with the professional operator in mind although there is no banning homeowners who undertake their own spraying requirements. These models benefit from a number of special features including a large separate filling opening. It also has a pressure click lock system with integral pressure release valve. This separate opening means that you don't have to remove the piston assembly in order to fill the tank, which is the standard filling procedure with compression sprayers. The Doyen also has a gauge to show the pressure within the tank and a second to show the spraying pressure. It is also supplied with a Constant Flow Valve which, when used, ensures that your spraying pressure will not exceed 1.5bar which is the optimum pressure for many pest control solutions.

This sprayer is supplied with a 50cm brass spray lance but can be used with all of our lance extensions up to a recommended maximum length of 3-metres.

FAQs

What's the point of a separate filling place?

The standard sprayer design is for one access point to the tank which means that the pump shaft is removed in order to fill or empty the tank. This is fine but it does mean that firstly the pump shaft has to be removed and put somewhere whilst you are filling which takes time and risks contamination especially if the pump shaft is placed on the floor. Secondly, the size of the filling hole is governed, to some degree, by the diameter of the pump shaft which means that the filling point can be quite small. This sprayer doesn't share a filling point therefore the opening is much larger than normal. So no cross contamination and less spillage when filling.

What is the point of ceramic nozzle?

The majority of our nozzles are brass with the remainder being plastic which are ideal for the spraying that most units are used for so either chemical application, forestry work, construction sites or work around the garden/home. Ceramic is very robust whilst being easy to sanitise as it will resist the scratches that the brass or plastic may receive. Having said this, you can use any of the nozzles within our range with this sprayer so there is nothing stopping you having a few different ones so that you can ensure the optimum spray pattern at all times.
